Vivien Burt, M.D., Ph.D is a psychiatrist practicing in Los Angeles County. She is now offering tele-psychiatry via Zoom. She has more than 20 years of experience in adult and reproductive psychiatry. She is a Professor of Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and Founder and Consultant/Director of The Women’s Life Center of the Resnick UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital.

Dr. Burt’s areas of specialization include: reproductive psychiatry and women’s mental health, psychiatric treatment for women transitioning through menopause, psychiatric treatment for women and couples experiencing major life transitions (such as divorce, widowhood, career changes, retirement or illness), and general adult psychiatry for both men and women (addressing depression, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, PTSD, and grief and bereavement).
